Visual Print and Design team fundraise in 50 mile challenge

The team at Visual Print and Design will be raising vital funds for the emergency first response charity LIVES this October, by each running, walking or cycling 50 miles as the charity celebrates their 50th anniversary.

Taking part will be Graham Hunstone, Scott Jones, Charlie Hartley, Sarah Lawrence and Rachael Hunt, and the team have set a target to raise £500 via their JustGiving page.

Graham Hunstone, Managing Director at Visual Print and Design said: “We believe that it is our role as a business to offer up our time and resources when we can to help the community, especially as it has been a very difficult period for charities.

“That’s why this month, myself and the team at Visual Print and Design have taken up the challenge to walk, run or cycle 50 miles to raise vital funds for LIVES so they can continue to literally save lives.”

LIVES are a Lincolnshire-based emergency first response charity who work to attend 999 medical emergencies around the county.

The team is made up of volunteer Community First Responders and Medics, and the charity needs over £1.4 million a year to ensure they can keep their volunteers on the road delivering vital first response action.

Tiffany Allen, Corporate & Grants Fundraising Manager at LIVES said: “LIVES are very proud to be turning 50 this year, but we have had to suspend almost all of our anniversary celebrations and fundraising activities, due to the pandemic.

“We were thrilled to hear that Visual Print and Design wanted to take on a challenge to celebrate our milestone age and can’t wait to see their progress over October as well as raising vital funds to keep our amazing volunteer Community First Responders on the road!”
