This year will see the return of The Christmas Dinner Project, which aims to support families county-wide who are in need this Christmas.
Launched by Pepperells Solicitors, the project aims to provide families in need with festive food packs filled with all the ingredients needed to make a Christmas dinner.
The Bridge Church Food Bank will be working with Pepperells to identify families who are in need and would otherwise go without, and Morrisons are on hand as their food partner in providing the necessary ingredients.
The Pepperells office in Lincoln are looking for support from local businesses to each donate £25 towards the project, and they aim to pledge 50 meals for 50 families in Lincolnshire this year.
With a number of Pepperells branches taking part across the UK, the project hopes to feed over 200 families.
Last year saw The Christmas Dinner Project prove a huge success, with over 150 families in East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire who received the packs and could enjoy a Christmas dinner together.
Business Development Manager, Claire Williams, said: “We all look forward to that special dinner on Christmas Day, sitting around the table and enjoying our festive feast.
“Unfortunately it’s a luxury that not all families can afford.
“Pepperells Solicitors are delighted to be running the Christmas Dinner Project again this year, in partnership with Bridge Church Food Bank and Morrisons.
“This year it is more important than ever before to help families in need in Lincolnshire.”
“We are aiming to secure enough pledges to provide 50 families with a delicious festive dinner pack, including all the ingredients and items to prepare a tasty Christmas dinner with all the trimmings including pudding and mince pies.”
