Popular Lincoln hotel closes after company goes into administration

Branston Hall Hotel has announced that they will close after their parent company South Spring Limited has fallen into administration.

Based on Lincoln Road in Branston, the well known wedding venue has been forced to close its doors despite working hard to reopen on December 2, and all staff members are affected.

Branston Hall will now not reopen, and the team have asked that people do not attempt to contact the hotel as only security personnel remain on site.

Simpsons Boutique Spa, neighbouring the hotel, will not be affected by the closure as they are a separate company.

On Saturday November 28, the company announced their closure on social media, titled ‘A final message from Branston Hall Hotel’, which stated that they are “Utterly heartbroken to announce that Branston Hall Hotel, the company that is owned by South Spring Limited has now been placed into administration.

“We’d like to thank every single guest who ever visited our hotel, everyone who supported us and to everyone that has sent us kind messages and well wishes.

“This is devastating for every member of staff that have been at the hotel for so many years and to those who worked so hard to try and get Branston Hall open again.”
