Council approves 315 new homes in Sleaford

A planning application to build 315 new homes on the edge of Sleaford has been approved this week by North Kesteven District Council.

The new development will be located on the land south of the A17 at Holdingham on the northern edge of Sleaford.

Plans submitted back in 2017 set out to build only 200 houses in the area, but it was later agreed to increase the number of houses to 315 despite certain public objections regarding concerns of noise pollution, ecology, flood risk and visual amenity.

The site will consist of two, three and four-bedroom houses with 63 being considered as affordable.

It is not yet known when work will start on the development.
