An independent pizzeria start-up in Lincoln, Weirdoughs Pizza Emporium, has announced a new premise move.
The business began with the team making pizzas to raise money for the NHS during the lockdown early last year, and has since grown, with the pizzeria operating from Lincoln pub The West End Tap on Newland Street.
The team have now moved into a different Lincoln pub, Tap & Spile, located opposite The Cheese Society on Hungate after The West End Tap closed earlier this month.
Weirdoughs stated: “Turns out moving an entire kitchen takes quite a while.
“We’ve still got a few bits and bobs to sort but we are now fully operational again with exactly the same opening times and delivery service.
“The Tap & Spile kitchen is a lot bigger than our last one so we have big plans to expand the menu… starters, sides, desserts.
“We are super excited to get rocking and rolling again.”
Selling ‘proper Neapolitan pizza’, customers can enjoy their signature ‘Weirdough’ pizza and other mains such as ‘Meat The devil’ and ‘Pep Talk’.
The business will be delivering to selected locations in Lincoln, or customers can order to collect.
