Plans to see 68 new homes in East Lindsey have been submitted to the council.

The development plans, which would see 37 new homes in Spilsby and 31 bungalows in Wragby, are awaiting approval from East Lindsey District Council.

Located on the north western edge of Spilsby between Granary Close and Partney Road, the development will comprise of detatched, two-storey semi-detatched and mews houses ranging from two to four bedrooms.

30% of the proposed houses are considered affordable.

The planning statement said: “The overall aim of the development is to create a sustainable and distinctive place to live, that will meet a variety of housing needs (including affordable housing) whilst respecting adjacent residential amenity, existing trees and hedgerows and the site’s ecology. ”

The Wragby development, situated on land north of Louth Road and the east of Queen Elizabeth Street, is designed for retirement users.
