Lincoln-based Visual Print and Design has announced a new hire, welcoming Marketing Assistant, Chloe Cockett, to its team.

Chloe recently graduated with a First-Class degree in BSc (Hons) Sport Management at Northumbria University which gave her insight into the world of marketing.

She has previously completed two digital marketing internships in both Lincoln and Newcastle, gaining valuable experience.

In her spare time, Chloe runs her successful food blog, @ccdinnerdiaries, on Instagram, which showcases recommendations for restaurants & bars, cafes and takeaways in Lincoln and around the UK.

After a challenging year within the job market, Chloe has taken advantage of the Kickstart Scheme created by the government in response to COVID-19.

The kickstart scheme provides funding for employers to create jobs for 16–24-year-olds.

Chloe said: “I’m so thrilled to have joined Visual Print and Design to start my career in marketing.

“I’m looking forward to taking on new challenges and learning how to create and implement strategic marketing and lead generation campaigns by utilising both traditional and digital marketing tactics.

“The team has been so welcoming, and I can’t wait to get first-hand experience in both marketing and the print industry.”

Creative Marketing Manager, Rachael Hunt said: “It’s been an interesting and difficult year for many but as we begin to ease out of lockdown, there is a sense of optimism surrounding businesses and we’re so excited about the various print, design and distribution projects that we’re already supporting clients with.

“I’m delighted that we’ve been able to take on Chloe as our Marketing Assistant as she will be playing an integral role in helping us action our ambitious growth strategy over the next 18 months.

“We’re also lucky enough to be in a position to be looking to hire a new Business Development Manager who will be working in conjunction with myself and Chloe to propel Visual Print and Design forward as we overcome the pandemic.”
